Canine Basics: Obedience and temperament training

This four-class series includes basic obedience skills, brain games, and temperament conditioning to build confidence and patience in your dog. Your instructor uses positive reinforcement and micromanagement to help create a predictable, fun learning framework for you and your dog.

Your curriculum will include:

  • Loose leash walking basics

  • Leave it

  • Proper dog-to-dog introductions

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Recall

  • Foundation to Stay

  • Go to Place

  • Drop it

  • Settle lessons

  • And more!

Some dogs may be better suited for classes or private lessons that specialize in reactive or fearful behavior. This can be determined during the registration process. Classes for reactive or fearful dogs will be on the calendar periodically. 

This class is best suited for dogs 5 months or older. However, all ages are welcome. Space is limited.

Classes are on Sundays at 6 pm. This is a four-class series. Each class is one hour long. This series will be held in June, August, and October of this year. The series begins the first Sunday of the months listed above.

Cost: $225 for the series.
