Jeb Cadwell
Jeb Cadwell is the owner of Threshold Dog Training and the director of the non-profit, Reset Dog Training Network. He grew up in rural New Hampshire while subjected to up to six extremely untrained dogs at a time – hence his fascination with training dogs!
Jeb has logged over 20,000 hours of dog training and human coaching. His ability to communicate with clients is influenced by his past as a preschool teacher and a youth-at-risk counselor.
While Jeb Cadwell is skilled at working with a wide range of dog behavior goals, his favorite is working with dogs who are learning to gain confidence in the world after a rough start.
Jeb is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT); a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC); a former Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI); an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator; and a Certified Wag-It Games Instructor. He is a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
His training philosophy adheres to the principles of the Hippocratic Oath: when in doubt do no harm. Therefore, he uses the least invasive, minimally aversive methods as is possible.
